Morning and standard still fit
Morning is the winter half-day we like most. You meet on the square. You go inside while the stone is still cold and the groups are thinner. You finish by 13:00 with light still on the courtyard. Afternoon is the same meeting pin and a shorter remaining sun. Do not hang Topkapı and the cistern on that 13:00 to 17:00 clock in January. Pick one heavy door. Tuesday already forces the cistern swap. Winter does not cancel that swap.
Standard is the winter full day that still matches the sun. Hotel pickup in the Vito. Lunch indoors. One heavy interior. The bazaar while the lanes are open. Sabiha Gökçen is 65 km and 75 to 95. Fog and rain can add to that. Landing to a key is still two and a half to three hours from IST on a kind day. A 10:00 arrival can still make a courtyard evening. A 13:00 arrival is dinner and dry shoes. Do not buy morning for a late winter landing.
