Things to do in Istanbul on one private day: five Old City stops, 09:00 to 17:00 from 230 euros, hotel Vito and lunch. What to cut. Which clock to book.
Things to do in Istanbul on a first Hagia Sophia Travel day are five stops on one ridge: Blue Mosque, Hippodrome, Hagia Sophia gallery, Topkapı with the Harem when open, and the Grand Bazaar. That private clock is 09:00 to 17:00 from 230 euros, with a Mercedes Vito and lunch. Minimum two adults. Maximum six. Listed prices are before VAT. Cut the second hill. Cut Galata after a Sultanahmet morning. Open one standard or deluxe cart, finish payment, and keep the airport car on a separate booking.

Things to do in Istanbul on a first Hagia Sophia Travel day are five stops on one ridge, not twenty doors across two shores. Blue Mosque between prayers, the Hippodrome, Hagia Sophia visitor gallery, Topkapı with the Harem when open, and the Grand Bazaar when the lanes are open. That private day is 09:00 to 17:00 from 230 euros per person, with a Mercedes Vito from the hotel and lunch. Minimum two adults. Maximum six. Children 0 to 5 are free. Ages 6 to 11 pay half. Listed prices are before VAT. TÜRSAB 16602.
Pay that day on the Hagia standard full day. The same five-stop map on our partner brand is things to do in Istanbul. The Colina checkout twin is the Colina standard full day. Open one cart.
Things to do in Istanbul that fit one clock
Count five things, not a city. Pickup, the square, the palace, lunch, the bazaar. A sixth idea belongs on another date. Free cancellation sits on the checkout, up to 24 hours before pickup. The guide on the full-day pages is a licensed private guide, described there as English-speaking. Another language is a request in the booking notes.

| Thing | On site | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Blue Mosque | 35 to 45 min | Free when open. Shoes off. Prayer can pause. See Blue Mosque Istanbul |
| 2. Hippodrome | 20 to 25 min | Outside. No ticket |
| 3. Hagia Sophia visitor gallery | 60 to 75 min | Ticket already in morning, afternoon and full-day prices |
| 4. Topkapı with the Harem | about 165 min | Closed Tuesday. Cistern Plan B on afternoon and full day |
| 5. Grand Bazaar | 45 to 60 min | Open most days. Shut Sunday |
That is the honest core of things to do in Istanbul for a first guided day. The short boat is not in the 230 euros. It is the deluxe finale, from 290 euros, about 09:00 to 18:30, on the Hagia deluxe full day. The matching Colina deluxe page exists if you prefer that brand cart. One finale only: the boat or Balat. The boat is about 120 minutes on a group boat, not a yacht.
Lunch on the standard day is sit-down. Drinks are extra. Central hotels are picked up around 08:30 to 09:15. The exact door time arrives the day before. Confirm museum hours the week you fly on the Ministry of Culture museums portal.
Which Hagia clock to open
One date, one sightseeing cart. Things to do in Istanbul booked as morning plus deluxe is two days, not a discount.
| You have | Pay on Hagia | From |
|---|---|---|
| 09:00 to 17:00 after a night in the hotel | Standard (linked above) | 230 euros |
| That day plus the boat or Balat | Deluxe | 290 euros |
| Only a morning in Sultanahmet | Morning | 125 euros |
| Palace after lunch | Afternoon | 165 euros |
| A different stop list | Colina planner | Shown in the builder |

Morning meets in Sultanahmet with no hotel Vito. The Colina morning twin is the Colina morning half-day. Custom stops are paid on Colina’s planner. The short boat, when it is not already the deluxe finale, is 15 euros per person there. The single-day product clock is Istanbul full day tour.
The list also fails when you treat the afternoon half-day as a free upgrade on top of morning. Morning plus afternoon on the same date is two payments and a tired group. Pick one window. If you want Topkapı, do not book only the morning meet. If you want Blue Mosque early and the palace later, that is the standard day, not two half-days glued together.
What to cut
Things to do in Istanbul fail when the inbox adds a second hill. Cut Dolmabahçe after Topkapı. Cut Galata after a Sultanahmet morning. Cut the six-hour public boat to Anadolu Kavağı on the same day as the palace. Cut the Princes’ Islands on a two-night stay. Tuesday closes Topkapı; use the cistern Plan B or move the date: Istanbul on Tuesday.
Also cut the idea that every famous name must fit day one. The Basilica Cistern is Plan B on Tuesday for our afternoon and full-day products, not a sixth stop you force after the Harem. A rooftop restaurant photo is dinner, not a tour block. A second bazaar after the Grand Bazaar is shopping, not a guided stop. Keep the five. Pay once. Sleep before you expand the list.
One day, two nights, three nights
One clean day after you have slept is enough for the five stops. Two nights give you that day and a leave morning only if the flight is late. Three nights can add water on the last morning if the departure allows. A 14:00 landing is the hotel, not Topkapı. Build the stay around one paid sightseeing clock, then use leftover mornings for tea and walks, not a second cart that fights the airport transfer.
The airport is not on the list
Istanbul Airport to Sultanahmet is 48 km, 45 to 60 minutes, 45 euros for the vehicle, up to 6 passengers and 6 bags, Gate 9, point CEO 34. Sabiha Gökçen is 65 km, 75 to 95 minutes, 50 euros, pillar 10. Book Istanbul Airport to Sultanahmet the night before the tour, and the return on Sultanahmet to Istanbul Airport in the same sitting. We want you at IST about three hours before an international departure, and at SAW four hours or more.

Five steps, then pay
First, count a real sightseeing day. Things to do in Istanbul start near 09:00 after you have slept.
Second, open standard unless you already want the boat or Balat. Then deluxe. A morning-only day is the 125 euro meet.
Third, read Tuesday and Sunday. Palace closed, or bazaar closed. Prayer can pause the Blue Mosque on any day.
Fourth, open one Hagia or Colina checkout. Finish one.
Fifth, type the hotel name, adult count, and child ages. Minimum two adults. Maximum six. Cancel free up to 24 hours before pickup if the date moves.
Common questions
What are the best things to do in Istanbul on one day?
The Old City ridge: Blue Mosque, Hippodrome, Hagia Sophia, Topkapı with the Harem when open, lunch, and the Grand Bazaar. That is the 230 euro standard day.
Can I add the Bosphorus?
Yes on deluxe, as one finale, about 120 minutes, or Balat instead. Not both. Not on the 230 euro day.
Is Tuesday a bad day?
Topkapı is closed. Afternoon and full-day products use the cistern at no extra fee. Hagia Sophia and the bazaar still run.
Do I need the Museum Pass?
Not for our private day. The major tickets are already in the voucher.
What if I only have a morning?
Book the morning half-day and meet in Sultanahmet. No hotel Vito. No Topkapı.
Where do I change the list?
On Colina’s planner. Do not open two ready-made days for the same date.
Open the standard tour linked above if the five stops are the day you wanted. If the shape is wrong, use the planner, with the arrival and the return already saved.
