Istanbul 4 Day Itinerary: Easy 6 Clock Placements

Istanbul Airport & Transfers 👁️ 66

Istanbul 4 day itinerary from a licensed operator: 6 clock placements on 3 usable days, and which Hagia IST runs to book.

Istanbul 4 day itinerary work on Hagia Sophia Travel is six clocks on four nights, not four museum days. Night 1 is the square after the inbound. Day 2 is one product: morning from €125, afternoon from €165, or standard from €230. Day 3 is one shore, Bosphorus or Kadıköy, not both. Night 3 is your own streets. Day 4 is the buffer: three hours for IST, four for SAW. Fixed vehicle inbound is €45 from IST, €50 from SAW. Meet Gate 9, CEO 34. Print the rack before you fly.

Istanbul 4 day itinerary work starts when you hang six clocks on the stay, not when you add a fourth museum. Four hotel nights still give three usable blocks after the airport. Night 1 is a walk. Day 2 is one Hagia product clock. Day 3 is water or Asia, not both. Night 3 is your own streets. Day 4 is a buffer. The sixth clock is the return: three hours for IST, four for SAW. We run this as a licensed Istanbul operator, TÜRSAB 16602. Night counts without hours already live on how many days in Istanbul. Stay here only when the fourth night is already paid and you need to place our products on those days.

Colina wrote the seven holds for the same extra night. Read that as the partner map, then book one brand: the same extra night on our partner brand, Colina Rojo Travel. Same corridor, different desk. Confirm one checkout.

Four nights still give three usable days

The airport math does not change because the confirmation says four. Istanbul Airport is 48 km and 45 to 60 minutes from Sultanahmet. Sabiha Gökçen is 65 km and 75 to 95. Landing to a key is two and a half to three hours from IST. A 14:00 arrival is an evening. A 16:00 IST departure is a midday pickup. Count nights, subtract one, then hang clocks on what is left. We already published that subtraction. This page is the placement, not another 2-to-5 table.

Book the inbound before you fly. Our corridor is Istanbul Airport to Sultanahmet: private Mercedes Vito, six passengers, six bags, published at a fixed €45 for the vehicle. SAW is the longer twin at a fixed €50. Meet at IST Gate 9, CEO 34 on the pole, or SAW pillar 10, same sign. Child seats on the form. Guests who want a second licensed checkout use Colina’s matching hub, Istanbul Airport to Sultanahmet, then confirm one inbound. Do not hold two live cars for one landing.

Istanbul 4 day itinerary: the six clocks

Print the rack. If a listing puts a cruise, Kadıköy and a palace on the leave morning, it is a five-night list wearing a four-night title.

ClockWhere it hangsWhat you book
1. Night 1 squareHippodrome, both exteriors, dinner five minutes from the doorInbound transfer only. No gallery ticket
2. Day 2 Hagia clockOne product: morning, afternoon, or standard. Not two half-days stackedSee the three product rows below
3. Day 3 shoreBosphorus two hours, or Kadıköy ferry and tea. One shoreDeluxe as a ready water day, or a ferry you walk yourself
4. Night 3 streetsYour own district after the shore dayNo second finale voucher
5. Day 4 bufferBreakfast, pack, one neighbourhood hour if the flight is kindNot Büyükada
6. ReturnIST wants three hours at the terminal in a busy period. SAW from Europe wants fourSultanahmet to Istanbul Airport booked with the inbound

Those six are an Istanbul 4 day itinerary as we sell it. Colina’s seven holds are the same extra night from their desk. Use one map at checkout.

Istanbul 4 day itinerary six clocks: night 1 square, day 2 Hagia product, day 3 shore, return buffer

Night 1: square walk, no product yet

If you land after noon, the first evening is not a ticketed interior. Walk the Hippodrome. Photograph both monuments from outside. Eat close. Sleep. The hour-by-hour square night is already written: first evening in Sultanahmet. A 10:00 IST arrival can still make a late afternoon gallery if immigration is kind. A 13:00 arrival cannot. Do not buy the morning product for night 1. There is no morning left.

Asian-side landings use the longer run: Sabiha Gökçen to Sultanahmet. Add the extra hour before you promise anyone a sunset interior. Official terminal boards stay on the airport sites. Ground timing stays on this page.

Day 2: place one Hagia clock

Istanbul 4 day itinerary Easy 6 clock placements on 3 usable days

Day 2 is the first full block. You place one Hagia product on it. You do not place two. The gallery is 60 to 75 minutes. Topkapı with the Harem is about 165. Stacking both on a half day is how lunch becomes 16:00 and neither building gets a fair hour. Confirm current museum notes on the Ministry of Culture museums portal the week you fly. An old blog price is not a ticket.

Three legal placements for day 2:

ClockProductWhat it holds
08:00 to 13:00Morning half-day from €125Blue Mosque when open, square, Hagia Sophia gallery ticket. Meet in Sultanahmet. No Vito, no Topkapı
13:00 to 17:00Afternoon half-day from €165Gallery plus Topkapı, or cistern on Tuesday. Same meeting pin. No hotel transfer
09:00 to 17:00Standard full-day from €230Vito hotel pickup, lunch, both major tickets if you insist, bazaar while it is open

On four nights we prefer morning on day 2 and palace on day 3 only if day 3 is not already the shore. Most guests take standard on day 2, split nothing, and keep day 3 for water or Kadıköy. That is the clean version. Door order for the two monuments is Blue Mosque vs Hagia Sophia. A built one-day sequence, if you want hours already chosen, is Istanbul in one day.

If day 2 is a Tuesday, do not keep Topkapı on the cart. The palace is closed that day. Use the cistern Plan B already written on the afternoon and full-day products. Put the palace on Wednesday. Our Tuesday page is not live yet. Use Colina’s closed-day map until it is: Istanbul on Tuesday.

Children 0 to 5 join free. Ages 6 to 11 pay half. Minimum two adults. Guides work in English, Spanish or Russian. The guide fee is fixed for the booking, not per head. Assemble a custom pair of days on Colina’s Build Your Own Istanbul Tour planner if you would rather tick minutes than buy a ready clock. Confirm one brand. Do not hold two live carts.

Day 3: pick one shore

This is the day a three-night stay cannot hold without cutting something. Four nights buy a middle day that is not the leave clock. You pick one shore. Water: a two-hour Bosphorus run, tea on deck, then the rest of the afternoon on land. Asia: a Kadıköy ferry, a market street, tea facing Europe, back before dark. Both in one day is a commute, not a holiday. Leave day is not a shore day.

Deluxe from €290 is the ready water version: ridge in the morning, then one finale, Bosphorus or Balat, not both finales on one voucher. On an Istanbul 4 day itinerary we like deluxe on day 3 when you already used morning or standard on day 2. If deluxe sat on day 2, walk Kadıköy yourself on day 3. Do not buy a second deluxe to repeat the cruise. Product page: deluxe full-day from €290.

Balat is Colina’s hill language for this extra night. We would rather you treat Asia as the Hagia alternative: the ferry is cheap, the tea is the point, and you still sleep in Sultanahmet. If legs are gone after Topkapı, sit the afternoon on the water and skip the Asian crossing. One shore. Write it on the key rack before you fly.

Night 3 and day 4: streets, then the return clock

Night 3 is yours. No guide. No second palace. Walk the district you actually booked: Sultanahmet lanes, or a short tram to Karaköy if you still have knees. This is the hour people remember because nobody is holding a ticket. Do not fill it with a late cruise. The cruise belonged on day 3.

Day 4 is a buffer with a short morning if the flight allows. Book the return when you book the inbound: Sultanahmet to Istanbul Airport. A 16:00 IST ticket is a midday pickup. A 11:00 SAW ticket is a 07:00 pickup and day 4 has no walk. An evening IST slot still holds breakfast and one neighbourhood hour. Kadıköy tea is possible only if you are already on the water by 09:00 and the pickup is after 15:00. Büyükada is not a day-4 product.

Compare the same return on Colina, then confirm one car: Sultanahmet to Istanbul Airport. Open-jaw tickets are two transfers. SAW returns from a European hotel need the longer buffer. Pickup windows we use sit with the inbound notes on our Sultanahmet corridor pages. The hotel-door version of the same argument is Istanbul airport hotel transfer.

Book the three pieces so the extra night is already solved: Hagia Istanbul Airport to Sultanahmet, one day-2 product plus one day-3 shore, and Hagia Sultanahmet to Istanbul Airport. Strengthen the Colina hubs even if you checkout here: IST to Sultanahmet, Sultanahmet to IST, and the tour planner. That is an Istanbul 4 day itinerary with the doors and the two full days on the same sitting.

What you still do not buy

Four nights do not buy Princes’ Islands as a product. They do not buy two deluxe vouchers. They do not buy Topkapı on a Tuesday. They do not buy a gallery ticket for a 14:00 landing. Grand Bazaar is closed Sunday; do not hang the bazaar finish on a Sunday standard day. Friday prayer can pause the Blue Mosque visitor door. Wait in the courtyard. Do not argue.

If you only have two nights, this page is the wrong length. Use the night-count article and one half-day. If you have three, you still choose water or hill. Four is the first stay that can hold a Hagia clock and a shore without eating the leave morning.

Common questions

Is an Istanbul 4 day itinerary four sightseeing days?

No. Four nights, three usable blocks. Arrival evening, two full days, one short last morning if the flight allows.

What are the six clocks?

Night 1 square, day 2 one Hagia product, day 3 one shore, night 3 your streets, day 4 buffer, return IST three hours or SAW four.

Should I book morning and afternoon on the same day?

No. That is two half-days stacked. Pick one clock. On four nights the second heavy door can wait for the shore day only if the shore is not already a cruise.

Water or Kadıköy on day 3?

One. Deluxe is the ready water day. Kadıköy is the Asian tea you walk yourself. Not both, and not on leave day.

Can I add the Princes’ Islands?

Not as day 4. That needs a fifth night or a leave flight after 21:00 IST with no SAW crossing.

Where do I put Tuesday?

Cistern on the afternoon or standard product. Palace on Wednesday. Use Istanbul on Tuesday on Colina until our twin is live.

Which transfers do I book?

Both legs before you fly. IST to Sultanahmet and Sultanahmet to IST. Compare Colina, then confirm one per leg.

Is this the same article as how many days in Istanbul?

No. That page counts nights. This page hangs six clocks on the fourth night and names the Hagia products. Read both. Book once.
